Canadian Panforte Walnuts and maple syrup with reduced amount of wheat flour is a confection handmade in Canada from domestic and imported ingredients: walnuts, organic apricots, organic cane sugar, organic maple syrup, natural almonds & almonds flour, Canadian wheat flour, Canadian honey, candied: orange&lemon peel, and melon (candied in house with organic cane sugar, honey and lemon juice), spice mixture (black and pink peppercorns, cloves). Sprinkled with pink peppercorns, on the bottom is edible wafer paper (potato starch, water, vegetable oil).

How to keep panforte fresh
Store the panforte at room temperature before opening. After opening wrap in parchment and keep in a resealable plastic bag.
How to serve panforte
After opening one may refresh the look by sprinkling the top with the icing sugar. To serve in with coffee or wine just cut panforte in thin wedges.
